Analyze Trending Topics
Review trending topics to identify what’s hot and what’s not. Caution, it has to be relevant, original and interesting to your target base. Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Trends and threads on trade publications are a good place to start your research.
Practice Targeted Listening
Create Google alerts to notify you of important keywords, issues and what your competition is up to. Excellent prospects typically use vocabulary like ‘want’, ‘need’ and ‘love’.
Participate in Conversations that are brand relevant.
Join in on conversations that your base is participating in, specifically around brands, issues, policies and solutions to their problems.
Now that you’ve identified your hot prospects, reach out in an appropriate manner and convert them into sales.
